Archiving Policy

The Pakistan Journal of Physical Therapy (PJPT) is committed to preserving and archiving its content to ensure long-term accessibility and security. We utilize the PKP Preservation Network (PN), a free preservation service for Open Journal Systems (OJS) journals that meet specific criteria. The PKP PN plugin for OJS 3 is currently under development and will soon be available in the plugin gallery.

In addition to PKP PN, PJPT employs the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, integrated into Open Journal Systems. This system helps maintain a secure and permanent archive for journal content. Journals accepted to archive content in the Global LOCKSS Network or those participating in a Private LOCKSS Network, other than the PKP PN, can benefit from this preservation initiative.

Furthermore, PJPT supports the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, another measure for securing a permanent archive. Journals that have signed a contract with the CLOCKSS Archive can ensure the longevity and accessibility of their content through this system.

Through these archiving policies and initiatives, PJPT aims to safeguard the scholarly work published in the journal, promoting the longevity and accessibility of valuable research contributions.
