Public Knowledge Program (PKP) Preservation Network

The Public Knowledge Program (PKP) Preservation Network (PN) provides preservation services for PJPT (Pakistan Journal of Physical Therapy) and other OJS (Open Journal Systems) journals meeting specific criteria:

  • It offers preservation for any OJS journal that has an ISSN, has published at least one article, and is currently running OJS 3.1.1.0.
  • Journal managers of PJPT can register their journal for inclusion in the PKP PN by enabling a dedicated plugin in their OJS instance and accepting the terms of the Preservation Agreement.
  • The registration process automatically checks if PJPT meets the minimum inclusion requirements.
  • It safeguards the original journal content generated by OJS's standard export tools.
  • Furthermore, the system autonomously harvests new content from registered journals, streamlining the process and reducing the need for manual intervention at PN member sites.
