CHARACTERIZATION OF KNEE OSTEOARTHRITIS AMONG THE PATIENTS ATTENDING PHYSICAL THERAPY OPD AT IPRS, SMBBMU LARKANA

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is the most ordinary and typical among all degenerative joint issues and affecting gigantic number of people. More established females are more inclined to seem KOA. A cross sectional overview was directed in Physical therapy OPD of Institute of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences (IPRS), Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), Larkana, Pakistan from April 2021 to February 2022. A self-developed a matter of form and was utilized among all 202 currently confirm diagnosed patients to gather the information and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 was used to analyze the data. In demographic Characteristics the age and gender were significantly associated with KOA (p<0.05). The review presumed that individuals who were older and belongs to female gender were seen as genuinely prohibitive because of the KOA. In this way, the older females ought to be centered around for the treatment of KOA to reduce the restriction from their activities of everyday presence and to work on their real pragmatic breaking point.
