Peer Review Policy

Introduction: THE SKY-International Journal of Physical Education and Sports Sciences is committed to ensuring the highest standards of research and publication ethics. To achieve this, the journal follows a double-blind peer-review process to assess the scientific merit of manuscripts submitted for publication. This policy is designed to maintain the integrity of the review process and ensure that only original, high-quality research is published.

Peer-Review Process: All manuscripts submitted to THE SKY-International Journal of Physical Education and Sports Sciences are subjected to double-blind peer review. The identity of the authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during the review process. Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the field of the manuscript's topic.

Reviewers are required to provide constructive and objective feedback on the manuscript, evaluating the scientific rigor, methodology, originality, clarity, and relevance of the research. They are also expected to provide recommendations for improving the quality of the manuscript, if necessary. The editor-in-chief will make the final decision on the manuscript based on the reviewer's comments.

Confidentiality: The confidentiality of the review process is of utmost importance to "THE SKY-International Journal of Physical Education and Sports Sciences." Reviewers are expected to keep the manuscripts confidential and not to disclose the details of the review process to anyone other than the editor-in-chief. Authors are also expected to keep the review process confidential and not to contact the reviewers directly.

Conflicts of Interest: THE SKY-International Journal of Physical Education and Sports Sciences expects reviewers to declare any potential conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to provide an unbiased review. Reviewers with conflicts of interest will not be assigned to review the manuscript.

Ethical Considerations: THE SKY-International Journal of Physical Education and Sports Sciences upholds the highest ethical standards in research and publication. Authors are expected to adhere to ethical guidelines and obtain appropriate approval for human or animal studies. Plagiarism and fraudulent data are strictly prohibited, and any such misconduct will be thoroughly investigated and appropriate actions will be taken.

Open Access: THE SKY-International Journal of Physical Education and Sports Sciences is an open-access journal, which means that all articles are freely available to readers. Authors are not required to pay a publication fee to cover the cost of publishing and archiving their articles. This model allows for greater access to research and promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the scientific community.

Authorship of Manuscript

Only persons who meet the authorship criteria should be listed as authors in the manuscript
as they must be able to take public responsibility for the content: (i) made significant
contributions to the conception, design, execution, data acquisition, or
analysis/interpretation of the study; and (ii) drafted the manuscript or revised it critically
for important intellectual content; and (iii) have seen and approved the final version of the
paper and agreed to its submission for publication. All persons who made substantial
contributions to the work reported in the manuscript (such as technical help, writing and
editing assistance, general support) but who do not meet the criteria for authorship must
not be listed as an author, but should be acknowledged in the "Acknowledgements" section
after their written permission to be named as been obtained. The corresponding author
should ensure that all appropriate coauthors (according to the above definition) and no
inappropriate coauthors are included in the author list and verify that all coauthors have
seen and approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission for
publication.
