Appeal Process

The authors has rights to appeal regarding the decision taken by editors or reviewers . They can send a letter to the editor who will forward it to a two member committee for addressal. PakJET deals with complaints and appeals in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE): https://publicationethics.org/appeals

Authors who wish to request reconsideration of a rejected manuscript can do so by emailing the journal’s Editorial Office including the manuscript ID number.

Please note that reconsideration will be conducted only at the discretion of the Editor(s). Please be advised that, due to keen competition for space in our journals, manuscripts may be considered low priority and subsequently rejected. Authors should explain in detail the reasons why they believe their manuscript should be reconsidered. If it is determined that it should be reconsidered, then the author may be asked to submit it as a new manuscript. The manuscript will then receive a new identification number and submission date and undergo review as a new submission.

Complaints Process

Pakistan Journal of Engineering and Technology ensure to have transparency at every step. If there is any grievance from a reader, author or reviewer, they are can lodge their complaint against journal and its officials. Complaints or grievances can be directly email to the Editor-in-Chief (muhammad.nasir@ee.uol.edu.pk) which will be send to the grievance committee.  Grievance committee consist of Manager Editor and two senior members from the journal management committee. The committee will investigate the complaint on merit and decision will be taken based on the available evidences. The decision will be forwarded to the concerned authorities.
