Abstract

The article has been aimed to respond the objection of Mr. Ali Sina who has blamed in his book “understanding Muhammad” that the Prophet s.a.w. ignored the rights of family while he opted isolation in cave of Hira for different times. He also claims that the cave was dangerous place as there might be toxic gasses and poisonous insects or microbial life. His objections has been minutely taken into discussion and his fallacies have been proven on the basis of logical and historical arguments. It has been proved that cave of Hira was not a remote place to be feared. The Quraysh used to visit there. The Prophet (s.a.w.) remained in touch with the family during his stay in cave Hira and paid his duty. Prophethood is a great position bestowed by Allah and those who are endowed with the highest human qualities are given this glorious position by Allah Almighty. It is not the case that prophets become admirable human beings after receiving prophethood and that the highest attributes are created in them by Allah at that time. The last Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. was very moderate and balanced person by birth and his personality was known in his society for his good character and purity in his early life.
