Abstract

Good govrence has become a serious issue in today’s political life. Corruption in public office holders has endangered the political system of Pakistan. In this state of affairs, it seems appropriate that we revert to Islamic teachings of Quran and Sunnah about honesty, integrity and responsible attitude in public life.

In this article I have described the criteria of employment suggested by Quran and Sunnah along with the principles of morality to which a government employee should adhere to. I have also mentioned the road-map wich public servants should follow and unwanted practics frome wich they should refrain from in light of Seerah of the Holly Prophet (SAW).
