Reasons and solutions for the differences between the Ummah in the present era

Abstract

Differences and disputes are an integral part of human life.
Everyone has different ideas and thoughts. Apart from that man is
also a social animal. It is difficult to live in this world without the
cooperation. However, there were differences in every ummah And
the leaders of every Ummah would find the causes of the
differences and find a solution to teach the people a lesson of unity.
today there is the suspicion among some people that islam is full of
differences and controversies. There are different sects and
religions. Under the ifluence of these differences even some true
muslims oppose islam. However, there were differences of opinion
even among the companions of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم on some
issues. The reason for this was ignorance or lack of valid arguments
or misunderstandings but there was no room for prejudice or
grouping at all. Heصلى الله عليه وسلم used to resolve the differences among them in
the best possible way And His Companions ؇understood that these
differences are for understanding the problems and solving them.
The Muslim Ummah was not divided into sects on the basis of these
differences in the time of Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his Companions. But every
kind of Deffernces at that period were blessing. so there is nothing
free from contradiction in this world. However, the Islamic Shariah,
which consists of the pure Quran and Sunnah, is really pure in all
respects in terms of its general principles, beliefs, worship and
affairs. The apparent differences in present era are actually due to
the adaptation of the texts of the mujtahids to the circumstances and
events. There is a need to change the mindset of the people in order
to bridge the differences that exist in the Muslim Ummah. today,
Instead of following one's own desires. so there is utmost need of
unity in the society
